Digital guide
A grounded guide to eating with the rhythms of the year — what to buy, what to cook and what the label actually means.
Supermarkets offer the same food in every month, so it is easy to lose track of what is actually growing. Eating with the seasons is a way back: food that is fresher, more nourishing and closer to the land it came from.
A calm, practical approach to food through the year, designed to help you shop, cook and choose with more clarity and less effort.

Why this exists
Modern food has made almost everything available, all the time. Strawberries in January. Tomatoes flown halfway around the world. Shelves that look the same in every month of the year.
But availability has a cost we don't always see. Most of us couldn't say what is in season this week, how our vegetables were grown, or what was sprayed on them before they reached the shelf.
Eating well was supposed to be simple. Instead it has become another source of overwhelm: superfoods, rules, plans and experts telling you what to cut out next.
Eating with the Seasons doesn't ask you to follow a diet. It asks you to notice what is growing now, and to cook with it. This is for anyone who has stood in a supermarket aisle unsure what to choose, wondered whether organic is worth it, or wanted a clear, unhurried way to eat closer to the earth.

That is completely fine. A short Cooking by Feel section covers vegetables, meat, seasoning and sauces, so you can build a plate without a recipe.
